OUR SCHOOL

At Palafolls Aerodrome, the only official flight center in the Maresme since 1993, you can make your dream come true. You can become a pilot. At our school we offer quality training, with more than 25 years of experience, and focused on the student pilot.

During the course there will be theoretical classes and practical classes in parallel, always accompanied by an experienced instructor. In this way you will be able to develop your knowledge and skills optimally as a pilot to finally pass the official exam.

WHAT ALLOWS ME TO DO THIS LICENSE?

The U.L.M. pilot license allows you to be a pilot of ultralight aircraft (aircraft up to 450kg) and, with this particular qualification, the U.L.M. of Center of Gravity Displacement (DCG).

This license is in the category of sports aviation and therefore allows leisure (private) flight. It is a very good option for all those who want to have fun flying and / or start their aeronautical career at a very affordable price.

The course is divided into two parts: theoretical program and flight practices. These two will be developed in parallel and respecting the rhythm of each. However, the official exam will be first the theoretical one and then the practical one. These will be carried out once the student is fully prepared and has the optimal knowledge to be able to fly alone and become a pilot.

All classes (theoretical and practical) will be held from Wednesday to Sunday to be agreed according to the availability of the student and the school.

THEORY PROGRAM

During the theoretical course you will learn about:

FLIGHT PRACTICES

All flight practices are carried out with the school plane, a Blade trike with a 503 Rotax engine. The law stipulates a minimum of 10 hours of flight which are fragmented into sessions of various durations in order to optimize time. of real learning.

The 10 hours of flight are the minimum stipulated by law but in general the hours required before the exam are longer. Each student will have a different learning and at their own pace. Therefore, a specific number of flight hours cannot be stipulated.

WHAT DOES THE TRAINING INCLUDE?

Theoretical in the classroom for a year.

Students will also have a study room and classroom teaching materials to complement the theory. For internships, the school lends the helmet and aeronautical headphones to be able to start the course.

The price does not include the LAPL medical certificate.

FLIGHT HOUR PACKAGES

At the end of the base hours stipulated in the course, the student can add time in the form of packages of flight hours to complete their training.
